When I first began working with Francis and Deb, they ran a warm, beloved restaurant in Surf City: Francis’. Over the years, I supported nearly every aspect of their brand — from writing and optimizing their website to managing their social media, graphics, ads, and Google presence (which didn’t exist until I set it up).

We worked together for more than a decade, steadily elevating their image and expanding their reach — positioning them not just as “caterers” but as true private dining professionals.

Then Covid Hit

Like many small businesses, they faced tough choices. I recommended a pivot:

Private Dining by Francis — a full restaurant experience, brought into your home.

We repositioned the entire business around this idea…and it clicked. Big time. 

What I Delivered:

• Brand repositioning from “restaurant/catering” to an elite “private dining experience”

• Full site optimization + local SEO to reflect the shift

• Set up and actively managed Google Business Profile from scratch

• Ran Facebook ad campaigns targeting LBI locals + second-home owners, as well as the rest of NJ

• Created most of the branded graphics and marketing collateral

• Helped build review strategy to grow online credibility

• Ongoing consulting on growth, direction, and strategy

The Results:

• Reduced overhead, improved margins, stronger client connection…and a much happier Chef

• More freedom to travel and choose clients — with no physical location needed

• A more resilient, reputation-driven brand that still thrives today
